Yevheniya Putra has become a player for the University of Louisville
Ukrainian national basketball team player Yevheniya Putra will continue her career in the American collegiate championship NCAA. She has joined the team of the University of Louisville – the 'Louisville Cardinals', which placed fourth last season and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament.
In the 2024/25 season, Putra played for the Slovak club MBK Ružomberok, showcasing high performance. On average, she scored 8.5 points per game, made 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks. Her shooting accuracy was impressive: 53.8% from two-point range and 64.3% from the free-throw line.
Alina Yagupova – Champion of Spain
The captain of the Ukrainian women's team and player of 'Valencia', Alina Yagupova has won her second title as the champion of Spain. Previously, she also won the Cup of Spain. Her results in the championship and EuroLeague confirm that Yagupova is among the best players in Europe.
