Zelensky instructed Umerev on several tasks in his new position - details.


The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Rustem Umerev as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) on July 18. He instructed the new head of the NSDC on a number of tasks, as he reported on Telegram.
Tasks for Umerev as NSDC Secretary
Zelensky discussed the work of the NSDC of Ukraine and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff with Umerev and transmitted tasks to him, including:
- First - to continue working with partners on agreements for weapons. The President emphasized the importance of fully implementing agreements on weapons supply and creating joint production with partners.
- Second - to conduct an analysis of the implementation of the NSDC and Staff decisions, rectify delays, and strengthen the technological Staff.
- Third - to activate the negotiation track and ensure greater dynamics in the negotiation process.
It is also worth noting that Rustem Umerev has been appointed Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, and the process of government renewal has begun in Ukraine with the formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers.
The Ukrainian president has entrusted the new NSDC Secretary with important tasks for improving the council's operations and cooperation with partners in the defense sector. There is also a renewal of the government with the formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers, indicating active changes in the political life of the country.
