According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of April 17, 2025, the losses of Russian occupiers have been updated.
Russia's losses in the war on April 17, 2025
As of April 17, the following losses have occurred among the Russian army during the war with Ukraine:
- approximately 937440 (+1230) personnel;
- 10654 (+16) tanks;
- 22217 (+54) armored fighting vehicles;
- 26442 (+65) artillery systems;
- 1366 (+2) MLRS;
- 1135 (+3) anti-aircraft systems;
- 370 (+0) aircraft;
- 335 (+0) helicopters;
- 32925 (+88) operational-tactical UAVs;
- 3145 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 28 (+0) ships/boats;
- 1 (+0) submarine;
- 44642 (+170) vehicles and fuel tankers;
- 3807 (+3) special equipment.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of April 17
- There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships that are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles and can launch up to 26 missiles simultaneously.
In the past 24 hours, movement has been registered among Russian occupiers through the Kerch Strait:
- four vessels heading to the Black Sea, of which two continued towards the Bosporus;
- six vessels heading to the Sea of Azov, of which four continued through the Bosporus.
Let us remind you that the war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1148 days.
