Ukrainians Abroad Explained Why They Receive Notifications About Military Registration Violations.

Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohrenko explained why Ukrainians abroad receive notifications about military registration violations.
In certain circumstances, Ukrainians residing abroad who officially reported this during the update of their data receive notifications about violations of military registration rules. Chernohrenko emphasized that the state still considers these citizens to be in Ukraine.
“The state continues to think that they are still in Ukraine,” Chernohrenko emphasized.
She also provided the example of an individual who lives abroad, is an officer, and did not undergo the military medical commission in a timely manner, violating the law of Ukraine. This information is recorded in the register.
Additionally, the Ministry of Defense plans to add the possibility of paying fines for violations of military registration rules in the Reserve+ app. Chernohrenko explained that many people do not want to go to territorial recruitment centers for this, so the ability to pay fines in the app will simplify the process. She also noted that there is a draft law to provide a discount on fines for those who independently issue a receipt, similar to violations of traffic rules.
The official clarified that if the deputies announce this draft law by the end of the year, then at the beginning of 2025 this option will appear in the Reserve+ app.
Let us remind you that in Ukraine, the rules for military mobilization exemptions have been tightened.
