Ukrainians have been revealed how many police are involved in combat operations.

The National Police of Ukraine is actively engaging in the fight against Russian aggression, performing new functions and protecting the country. More than 17 thousand police officers are involved in military operations on the front line, together with the military, they control the situation in the Toretsk direction.
17 thousand police officers are involved in functions related to repelling armed aggression, which means almost every tenth.
Police also ensure the evacuation of civilians, demining, and border protection. However, cooperation with the local population is complicated by the loss of trust in the police. Currently, the main focus is on reducing crime and protecting journalists.
New responsibilities and challenges at the front
Police officers are doing everything possible to ensure the country's security: setting up checkpoints, identifying unregistered weapons, assisting the civilian population. Unfortunately, some statements that are considered threats are not always legal threats, which complicates legal proceedings.
The decrease in the number of offenses indicates the effective performance of the police under wartime conditions. However, new challenges are emerging at the front that will require police officers to have great courage, training, and the ability to perform various tasks to defend Ukraine and its residents. The police's activities at the front are becoming an important aspect of the law enforcement system's work in wartime conditions.
The National Police of Ukraine proves its dedication and readiness to defend the country in the difficult conditions of war, reinforcing the role of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the safety of citizens and territory.
