Strikes with long-range weapons deep into Russia will help maintain 'the situation on the ground' - expert.

The expert in missile-nuclear weapons, Oleksandr Kochetkov, claims that the use of long-range weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine deep into Russia can weaken the forces present in the Kursk region, particularly the North Korean forces. According to him, the American ATACMS and French and British Storm Shadow and SCALP EG weapons are effective in deterring existing militants. The expert notes that they have rocket artillery and conventional artillery that allows them to halt the spread of enemy forces. He also adds that in Russia they no longer use the phrase 'taking the situation on the ground into account,' as long-range weapons have become a key factor.
The expert explains that the distribution of the territory of the Kursk region no longer involves trade, but the use of long-range weapons can help control the situation. He emphasizes that it depends not on permits but on the number of rockets. If the Ukrainian forces had more rockets, the situation would be different.
