Trump is selecting proposals to end the war in Ukraine: CNN reveals details.

Mike Waltz, future national security advisor to US President Donald Trump, is considering several proposals to end the war in Ukraine. This was reported by two sources familiar with the matter. According to them, Trump's representatives will focus on an immediate ceasefire aimed at temporarily 'freezing' the conflict during negotiations. It is also expected that the European Union and NATO will take on a larger share of the costs of supporting Ukraine.
One option being considered by Waltz is that continued US military aid to Ukraine will be contingent upon Kyiv's participation in peace talks with Russia and a ceasefire. Another option involves allowing Russia to retain the territories it currently controls in exchange for Ukraine's membership in NATO.
However, it is still too early to talk about Trump's final strategy, as he constantly shifts his positions and tactics. But Trump's aides have already stated that he is considering various options and may increase US military aid to Ukraine.
