Trump and Modi may meet in February: what the leaders of the USA and India will discuss.

U.S. and Indian diplomats plan to organize a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump, which may take place in February in Washington.
According to Reuters, improving trade relations between the countries and simplifying visa acquisition for skilled workers from India will be discussed at the meeting, reports ZN.UA.
In addition, New Delhi is concerned about possible tariffs from the USA. Trump has emphasized that India imposes high tariffs on American products and seeks to achieve mutual understanding on this issue.
Journalist sources note that New Delhi is ready to make concessions on the matter. However, there is no information about any U.S. plans regarding reciprocal customs tariffs, nor are there any open proposals to consider incentives to attract additional U.S. investments in India.
