Titled 'neutral' athletes from Russia congratulated Putin on his birthday.

Russian dictator Putin celebrates his 72nd birthday
On October 7, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin turns 72 years old. In his honor, athletes recorded a propaganda video where they congratulate him on his birthday. In this video, support for Putin and his leadership is depicted in a simplified manner.
"You are the leader of our friendly country. You are the leader of the winners, the support of hundreds of millions of hearts," the authors of the appeal noted.
Several prominent Russian athletes, including Olympic champions and medalists, participated in the filming of the video. Among them are Alina Zagitova, Svetlana Romashina, Yana Egorian, Kliment Kolesnikov, Lala Kramarenko, and Aleksandra Patskevich. It is worth noting that the International Olympic Committee does not recommend allowing Russian athletes who support the war against Ukraine to compete.
Despite his 72nd birthday, Putin stated that he does not plan to make the day special. However, it is known that he will meet with the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries.
It is also worth mentioning that last year, on Putin's birthday, the intelligence services organized fireworks. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down the enemy's 'Solntsepyok' flamethrower system, which is a symbol of the Russian military-industrial complex. Also, Kadyrov proposed canceling the presidential elections in Russia.
Unfortunately, it should also be noted that one of the former players of the Russian youth football team, Timur Osmolovsky, was eliminated by Ukrainian military forces as a result of a drone attack. This occurred on September 25, 2023. Osmolovsky, who played for several clubs, including Moscow Spartak, ended his career in 2023. The fallen occupier left behind a wife and daughters.
