Tanks Don't Stop: Czech Republic Called Naive Attempts to Appease Putin.

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky criticized the proposal of "appeasing" Russia at the GLOBSEC forum in Prague in favor of actions in the interest of Ukraine.
He warns that Russia has military ambitions beyond Ukrainian territory, and emphasizes that Russia's distorted view of the sovereignty of neighboring countries threatens the entire European continent. He argues that allowing Russia to win would create a dangerous and unstable Europe.
"Allowing Russia to win would create a fundamentally dangerous and fragile Europe," Lipavsky said.
Lipavsky also calls for decisive action in support of Ukraine, stating that Moscow only understands the language of force, which should be demonstrated by the international community.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed the opinion at the same forum that the West should have listened more closely to warnings about Putin's intentions in Eastern and Central Europe. She argues that calls to stop aid to Ukraine effectively mean capitulation to the aggressor, not a desire for peace.
Earlier, Politico stated that the Western policy of "appeasing" Russia in Ukraine is failing.
