On the night of Friday, October 25th, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, their air defense destroyed seven Ukrainian drones and a balloon. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"During the past night, attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs and a small balloon on objects in the territory of the Russian Federation were thwarted," the report reads.
The Russian air defense supposedly intercepted and destroyed three UAVs over the Sea of Azov, three UAVs over the Belgorod region, one UAV over the Bryansk region, and one small balloon purportedly destroyed over the Rostov region.
Let us recall that on the night of October 20th, air defense forces and means were in action in several regions of Russia due to the appearance of drones. Explosions and fires were reported. It was stated that the air attack was repelled in at least eight regions. It is noted that due to the "massive" drone attack, air defense was in operation in the Lipetsk, Tula, Ryazan, Orel, Ivanovo, Kursk, Kaluga, and Moscow regions.
Besides, Russian forces are increasing the intensity of strikes on the Kharkiv region, primarily using guided bombs.
