Russians advanced near Siversk and Pokrovsk: ISW maps.


Russian forces continue to advance in the Donetsk region, achieving successes near Siversk and Pokrovsk. This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War.
In Kharkiv region
Russian occupiers focused their forces on breaking through the Ukrainian defense near Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Vovchansk in Kharkiv region. However, thanks to the courage and professionalism of our military, they did not achieve significant success in this direction. Ukrainian defenders bravely hold back the enemy and inflict significant losses on them.
In Luhansk region
In the Luhansk direction, Russian forces continue to advance along Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna. They actively use artillery and aviation, trying to break the Ukrainian defense. However, Ukrainian military steadfastly hold their positions and do not allow the enemy to advance. Battles in this direction continue for a long Time.
In Donetsk region
In the Donetsk region, the situation is escalating. Russian occupiers have achieved successes south of Siversk and east and southeast of Pokrovsk. The enemy is actively attacking Ukrainian military positions using heavy weapons. Our military are engaged in heavy defensive battles, trying to stop the enemy's advance. The situation in this direction remains tense.
In the south
In the south of Ukraine, battles continue in the west of Zaporizhzhia region and in Kherson region. Russian forces are conducting limited offensive operations, but are not achieving success. Ukrainian military continue to defend their positions and inflict losses on the enemy. The situation in the south remains tense.
Air attacks
Both sides of the conflict are actively using drones for reconnaissance and strikes. Russian occupiers continue to attack Ukrainian cities with kamikaze drones, leading to destruction and casualties among the civilian population. Ukrainian military also use drones to strike enemy military targets.
