Russia hit Sumy region with 'Shaheds': three communities left without power.


Russian troops attacked the Shostka district of the Sumy region with 'Shahed' drones
On the evening of October 1, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the Shostka district of the Sumy region using 'Shahed' drones. The targets of these attacks were critical infrastructure objects. This was reported by the Sumy OVA.
The attack led to a power outage in three territorial communities: Shostka, Hlukhiv, and Yampil. The exact number of people left without power is not known at the moment, but it is said to be thousands of residents.
According to the Sumy OVA, emergency rescue services have already started working to eliminate the consequences of these attacks. Ukrainian air defense units continue to take active measures against the enemy's drones.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about a possible attack by 'Shaheds' in the Sumy region around 10:00 PM. It is noted that earlier, around 9:00 PM, guided aerial bombs were launched in the Sumy region.
It should be reminded that forced evacuation of children from 90 settlements is ongoing in the Sumy region.
