Russia launched over 60 drones at Ukraine overnight: how air defense responded.


Ukraine was attacked by 61 terrorist drones
On the night of January 19, Russian terrorists launched an attack on Ukraine using 61 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones of other types. This was reported by the Air Force.
The launch of the drones took place from Millerovo, Bryansk, and Oryol.
As of 09:00, the downing of 43 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and UAVs of other types in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions has been confirmed,” the statement said.
Additionally, another 15 imitation drones were lost; however, this did not lead to negative consequences.
As of 09:13, one drone is still in the air.
It is reminded that the 1061st day of the full-scale war continues. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction.
The enemy launched four missile and 22 air strikes, using six missiles and dropping 30 guided aerial bombs. Russian terrorists also used 817 kamikaze drones and carried out over 4300 strikes on our troops' positions and populated areas.
In total, 176 combat clashes occurred in the last 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely resist the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory and inflict significant losses on them.
