The Rada supported restrictions on certain pensions.

On April 15, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted, in the first reading, a revised draft law on pension provision for prosecutors. The document was returned for further development in mid-March and was supplemented with proposals from the head of the relevant committee, Halyna Tretiakova.
The main goal of the draft law is to change the conditions for granting pensions to prosecutors and to introduce uniform grounds for their recalculation. The revised edition stipulates that years of service pensions will be appointed and paid only after a person is dismissed from positions that qualify for such pensions.
Importantly, the draft law clarifies that a pension granted in accordance with the laws 'On Public Service', 'On the Prosecutor's Office', 'On the Status of People's Deputies of Ukraine', 'On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities', during the work in positions that qualify for the appointment of pensions under special conditions, will not be paid to persons who do not have the right to receive a pension under the general law.
For prosecutors with disability, the pension will be appointed in accordance with the Law 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'. The draft law also provides that pensions for prosecutors will be recalculated annually from March 1, taking into account the growth of monetary income of the population and consumer prices.
The document specifies that the Time spent working in scientific institutions and educational establishments of the Office of the Attorney General, military service, as well as half of the duration of obtaining higher legal education in full-time form, will count towards the years of service that qualify for a pension.
Moreover, the draft law proposes to grant the Pension Fund of Ukraine the status of a central executive authority with a special status.
The Cabinet of Ministers, along with central law enforcement authorities, is instructed to develop proposals for unifying approaches to determining the financial provision for prosecutors, including employees of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, and law enforcement officers by December 1, 2025.
Earlier, the Pension Fund of Ukraine revealed who in Ukraine receives a pension of 200 thousand hryvnias.
