Changes at the 'Shehyni' checkpoint
From March 13 to May 10, there will be a limited customs processing regime at the 'Shehyni' checkpoint on the border with Poland. This was reported by the State Border Service according to Glavkom.
Important information for travelers crossing the 'Shehyni' checkpoint. During the period from March 13 to May 10, 2025, customs processing will be conducted at a slowed pace due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint.
Border guards recommend travelers to plan their trips in advance.
To avoid delays, it is recommended to plan trips in advance and consider alternative routes through nearby checkpoints, border guards emphasize.
Recall that Ukraine plans to update and build new checkpoints on the border by 2030. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. More detailed information regarding checkpoints and regions has not yet been provided.
In addition, improvements to the 'YeCherha' system, which is already successfully functioning at 28 checkpoints, are planned. The Prime Minister also announced changes in the 'transport visa-free regime'.
