Benefits for War Participants - What is Known About Veteran Care.

Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who participated in combat actions on the fronts of the Russo-Ukrainian war are entitled to benefits in institutions specializing in social services, particularly in the care of individuals. In some cases, these services may be replaced by monetary compensation.

This was reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

Veteran Care Services

Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian war can receive various social benefits guaranteed by the state.

In particular, combatants have the right to priority service from institutions providing care social services.

When Monetary Compensation is Provided

There are cases when such services cannot be provided by social protection institutions for objective reasons.

In such cases, the state or local authorities reimburse the expenses related to caring for this war veteran, according to the procedure and amounts established by current legislation.
