Dmytro Pidruchnyi closed the top 5 of the men's sprint in Antholz.


Ukrainian biathlete Dmytro Pidruchnyi managed to take fifth place in the first individual start at the Biathlon World Cup, which took place in Antholz, Italy. Pidruchnyi made one mistake and finished in fifth position, lagging behind the leaders by about 20 seconds.
The top three consists of Norwegians Tarjei Boe and Sturla Laegreid, as well as Italian Tommaso Giacomel. Fourth place was taken by Martin Uldal from Norway, who outran Pidruchnyi by 1.5 seconds.
Other Ukrainian biathletes also participated in the race: Anton Dudchenko, Vitalii Mandzyn, and Taras Lesiuk. Dudchenko finished in 36th place with clean shooting, while Mandzyn and Lesiuk did not make it to the top 60.

The Ukrainian team showed the best season result in the men's relay at the fifth stage of the World Cup in Rupholding, Germany. The Ukrainian team consisting of Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Vitalii Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko, and Taras Lesiuk finished sixth.
The men's individual race was the opening of the Winter Universiade-2025, taking place in Turin, Italy.
