The Chairman of the Board of "Oschadbank" Serhiy Naumov reported on the necessary steps for pensioners-internally displaced persons (IDPs) to receive pension payments.
According to the government decree, within the next 6 months, pensioners-IDPs must undergo identification. They can be identified:
- in the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund;
- via video conferencing with the PFU;
- through a personal electronic cabinet on the PFU web portal;
- in foreign diplomatic institutions.
Naumov noted that the suspension or continuation of pension payments to IDP card accounts depends on the Pension Fund. "Oschadbank" does not block spending operations if identification is not passed but informs the PFU.
Additionally, the bank informs state authorities about accounts with no transactions conducted with the main pension card in the last six months.
To maintain pension payments, Naumov recommends pensioners-IDPs:
- to undergo identification in a timely manner;
- to conduct transactions with the main payment card of the pension account at least once every six months (cash withdrawals or purchases in stores).
