Financial Assistance for IDPs in 2025: Who Can Receive It?
In 2025, the organization 'Caritas Mariupol' is launching a new initiative called 'Providing Shelter and Housing Needs for Vulnerable Groups in Ukraine'. Within the framework of this project, internally displaced persons will be able to receive financial support that can be used for housing rental and covering other urgent needs.
The program provides for:
- insulation and sealing of housing (closing the thermal circuit);
- financial assistance for housing rental for displaced persons;
- provision of fuel briquettes for the heating season 2025-2026.
The project is implemented with the support of 'Caritas Ukraine' and 'Caritas Austria'.
To receive financial assistance from 'Caritas Mariupol', individuals must meet certain criteria. The total income per family member should not exceed 6,320 UAH. Additionally, individuals must meet at least one of the following conditions:
- Single-parent families;
- Families with pregnant women or mothers with children under 3 years old;
- Families with people with disabilities or those suffering from chronic diseases;
- Families consisting exclusively of individuals over 60 years old;
- Large families.

Note that Ukrainians will receive 21,000 in subsidies for heating with firewood and coal.
