After the liberation of Kherson, a shortage of about 360 thousand documents from the National Archival Fund was discovered, which the Russians stole during the occupation, the Ministry of Justice reported. Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Victoria Vasilychuk confirmed this information and noted that the Main Department of Development of the Ministry of Defense and the State Archival Service of Ukraine are actively cooperating to identify individuals involved in the theft of valuable documents. In particular, the documents of the National Archival Fund that remained in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are in question. Vasilychuk noted that these documents contain lists of Ukrainian collaborators, which were posted on the World and Sanctions portal. She also pointed out that criminal cases may be initiated and evidence collected for further criminal prosecution.
