One of the leaders of the Moscow church in Ukraine does not pay taxes on his business?.

The property of Metropolitan Pavlo, one of the members of the Synod of the UOC MP, is under a tax lien with a prohibition on its sale. This information is mentioned in the article "Farmer in a cassock: Who is dispossessing the notorious Metropolitan Pavlo" on the "Glavkom" website.
It is stated that this property complex, which includes five cowhouses, four silage pits, two grain storages, a feed workshop, an animal husbandry house, an office, a food warehouse, and an artificial insemination point, is located in the village of Voronkov in the Kyiv region.
According to the data from the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate, from August 10, 2023, the property complex of Metropolitan Pavlo is under a tax lien with a prohibition on its sale.
Renowned lawyer Yevhen Vorobyov, commenting on this situation, explained that a tax lien is a way to ensure the payment by the taxpayer of a monetary obligation and penalties that were not paid on Time. If the taxpayer does not resolve these obligations, their property will be confiscated.
The lawyer also added that one of the leading metropolitans of the Moscow church in Ukraine may not be paying land tax (considering that two land plots under the property complex are communal property and belong to the clergyman).
"Theoretically, the tax authorities could allow the sale of property under lien, but due to sanctions, Lebed will not be able to sell it. Thus, he cannot dispose of his property until the presidential decree is canceled," the lawyer emphasized.
It is worth noting that during 2024, Metropolitan Pavlo filed a lawsuit against the local company "MPL Agro," which used his farm in Voronkov. The clergyman accused the firm of illegally removing equipment and destroying the complex. The court prohibited the agricultural company from committing such actions.
