President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Prague on May 5, 2025, met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala. The main topic of conversation was the situation on the front and the need to maintain and strengthen sanctions against Russia. Cooperation at the level of European and Euro-Atlantic structures, energy collaboration, and the development of infrastructure projects were also discussed.

The President also discussed with Petr Fiala the opening of a Ukrainian hub in Prague, which will become 'the center of our national life in the Czech Republic and a center for enhancing connections between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.' It was noted that the first hubs will appear in Germany, Spain, Poland, and the Czech Republic itself, and the opening of centers in Great Britain and other countries is also being discussed.

During the meeting with the chairwoman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Markéta Pekarová Adamová and the deputies, the President of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the adoption of five resolutions in support of Ukraine. This meeting was particularly symbolic as representatives from both the coalition and the opposition participated, demonstrating the unity of the Czech political community regarding support for Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine also held a meeting with the leaders of leading defense enterprises in the Czech Republic, during which common projects and issues of Ukraine's security were discussed. Zelensky emphasized the importance of uniting the defense industrial capabilities of European countries to achieve peace on the continent.

Markéta Pekarová Adamová noted her involvement in humanitarian projects in Ukrainian hospitals and support for Ukrainian soldiers.
