The price of electricity in Ukraine may increase to 6.5 UAH per kWh due to requirements related to Eurointegration.
This was announced by MP Bohdan Kizak during his speech on the program Vechir.LIVE.
According to him, raising tariffs is one of Ukraine's obligations to creditors in order to normalize prices in line with European levels.
"It is clear to us now that there is a big difference in what the Ukrainian consumer pays compared to the European consumer, even taking into account the difference in wages and pensions," Kizak emphasized.
The MP noted that such an increase will be long-term. However, he emphasized that it is only possible with constant economic support for Ukraine or the beginning of Russian reparations payments.
