A child was injured in Kyiv region due to a Russian drone attack, he is in the hospital (updated).


A child was injured as a result of an attack by hostile drones in the Kyiv region. This was reported by acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kalashnyk.
As a result of debris falling from shot-down targets during the attack of hostile UAVs in the Kyiv region, a child born in 2012 was injured in one of the settlements.
According to the clarifications from the State Emergency Service, the incident occurred in the Bucha district.
According to Mykola Kalashnyk, the child is suspected of having a concussion and a laceration of the thigh. He has been hospitalized, where he is receiving all necessary medical services.
It is also reported that due to falling debris, a fire occurred in a café-store and an attached boiler house over an area of nearly 200 square meters. The fire was localized, but the shockwave damaged the windows of a nearby building.
To extinguish the fire, 23 rescuers and six units of equipment were involved.
At 09:48, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that the condition of the child injured during the nighttime drone attack in the Kyiv region is stable. The boy, born in 2012, sustained a leg injury and is under the care of doctors in the medical facility.
It should be noted that air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv and several regions. An air defense point was operating in the Kyiv region.
