In Kyiv region, officials of a medical institution have received suspicions - what is the reason.

Five officials of a medical institution in Kyiv region have received suspicions. They are accused of abusing with losses amounting to more than 7 million hryvnias.

According to law enforcement, the suspects established a scheme for obtaining budget funds allocated by the National Health Service of Ukraine. They entered unreliable data into the healthcare system about the medical services provided to the population.

In particular, the former director of the institution signed contracts for medical services with the National Health Service. Her accomplices, in concluding such contracts, submitted false information about the total volume of medical services that were actually not provided.

As a result of a forensic economic examination, it was found that such actions by officials led to the wrongful accrual of funds amounting to over 7 million hryvnias at the expense of the medical institution.

Currently, the former director of one of the medical institutions in Obukhiv district and four accomplices - the former medical director, the medical director, the head of the department, and the chief accountant - have been notified of the suspicion of abusing their official position.

Additionally, in Kyiv, employees of 'Kyivzelenbud' and 'Kyivpastrans' were detained for abusing budget funds amounting to over 300 thousand and 1.1 million hryvnias, respectively.
