The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially granted permission to a private school of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators for the first Time. This was reported by the ministry's press service. This permission was given to Global Drone Academy from Kyiv, which is expanding its profile and training specialists in drone management for civilian and military purposes. Graduates of the school will receive an official military specialty and be able to serve in the army in a specific direction. The project that allowed such certification of private schools was approved by the government of Ukraine. Its goal is to increase the number of specialists trained in Ukraine and improve the quality of training in such schools. Global Drone Academy has been operating since 2022 and during this time has graduated over 3700 UAV operators, among whom are representatives of military services. It was also announced about the launch of deferrals in the 'Reserve+' program.
