Almost 2500 entrepreneurs received compensation for the employment of IDPs.


Compensation for employers who employ internally displaced persons
Since the beginning of 2025, according to the Ministry of Economy, more than 2500 employers have received compensation for the employment of over 4200 internally displaced persons. The total amount of payments amounted to 94 million hryvnias.
In this program, up to 200 disabled individuals received compensation. The main goal is to assist employers who employ displaced persons from dangerous regions due to the war and to facilitate their and their families' rapid adaptation to a new place of residence.
The largest number of internally displaced persons were employed in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava regions, and Kyiv.
The amount of compensation for an employer who employs a person with internally displaced status received after February 24, 2022, is 8000 hryvnias.
To receive compensation, the employer needs to conclude a labor contract or gig contract with the internally displaced person and also submit an application for compensation through the Diia Portal or in paper form at the employment center along with the necessary documents.
