The Ukrainian band Zwyntar reacted to the scandal with the 'Quartal 95' studio
The band reported that their song was used without permission in a video on the YouTube channel 'Quartal 95'. As mentioned on social media, the musicians did not receive any explanations or apologies from the studio. However, they confirmed that their music was ultimately removed from the video.
In their statement, the band also addressed those who accuse them of using the scandal for publicity:
'That's not true. We do not want to attract an audience that watches such shows because we have our own true fans'.
The essence of the conflict
The studio 'Quartal 95' used Zwyntar's composition without permission, creating a 'derivative work' during a performance. The musicians deny that this material can be considered a parody and emphasize the violation of their copyright.
