Sixth exchange this year
Today, 390 Ukrainians returned as part of the '1000 for 1000' exchange announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is already the sixth exchange this year and the 65th since the beginning of the Russian war.
Among those released were both civilians and servicemen from various units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the Navy, Airborne Assault Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, National Guard of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service.
The return of 390 Ukrainians from captivity is an important event for Ukraine in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. We hope that the exchange of prisoners will continue, and all military personnel and civilians will be able to return home.
