State Statistics Service recorded an increase in apartment rental prices: where the highest prices are.


According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in January 2025, the average cost of renting a one-room apartment in Ukraine was 7326 hryvnias, which is 1.5% more than in the previous month.
The highest prices were recorded in the Transcarpathian region, where rental costs an average of 11,769 hryvnias. The second place is taken by the Lviv region with an indicator of 10,571 hryvnias, which is 1.2% more than last month. The Rivne region is in third place, where the rental price increased by 2.8% since the beginning of the year and reached 10,164 hryvnias.
Kyiv maintains the fourth position with a price of 9631 hryvnias for monthly rent, which remains stable.
Rental price growth is primarily observed in the western and some central regions. The lowest prices were recorded in the Kherson (3118 hryvnias), Zaporizhia (3623 hryvnias), and Mykolaiv (3908 hryvnias) regions.
According to the State Statistics Service, in December 2024, the average rent for a one-room apartment was 7203 hryvnias, and over the year, rental prices increased by 9.3%.
Throughout 2023, the average rental price in Ukraine increased by 15.9% and reached 6605 hryvnias. The leader in the price growth rate in 2023 was Transcarpathia with an increase of 46.2%.
