Daria Bilodid won in record time in the 1/16 finals of the Olympics.


Ukrainian judoka Dariya Bilodid defeated Kiribati representative Neryu Tibwa at the Olympics. She won in five seconds of the bout in the 1/16 final.
Bilodid performed a technique for an ippon score and continues to compete in the 2024 Olympics.
The bout took place in the weight category up to 57 kg. Bilodid's next opponent will be Japan's Haruka Funakubo.
On the third day of the 2024 Olympic Games, 19 Ukrainian athletes will start their competitions. They will compete in sports such as gymnastics, fencing, judo, shooting, swimming, rowing, cycling, boxing, and tennis.
On Monday, July 29, medal events will take place, including the women's individual sabre tournament, mixed team competitions in air pistol, men's team performance in gymnastics, individual judo competitions in the women's 57 kg weight category, men's synchronized diving from the ten-meter platform, and mountain biking cross-country. Other athletes from Ukraine will participate in qualifying or 'consolation' rounds or initial stage bouts.
At the Olympics, Ukraine will be represented in most sports except team sports. The football team will compete in the Games for the first Time since independence.
