Father of 'Barcelona' player Munir Nasraoui: 'Do not criticize my son'
The father of 17-year-old footballer Lamine Yamal, Munir Nasraoui, who plays for 'Barcelona', reacted to criticism coming from 'Real' fans. He asks not to scold his son and to praise his achievements.
«Lamine plays not only for 'Barca' but also for the national team. We should praise the guy who at such a young age has already played 100 matches for the 'blaugrana'. It is unpleasant when people speak badly about him. He should not be scolded,» said Munir.
He also emphasized that 'Barcelona' fans do not insult young talents from 'Real'.
This season, Lamine has played in 49 matches across all competitions, scored 15 goals, and provided 24 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 180 million euros.
Draw in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal
In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal of the 2024/25 season, 'Barcelona' and 'Inter' played to a 3:3 draw.
The hosts were trailing as early as the 1st minute of the game but managed to equalize thanks to goals from Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres. Then 'Inter' scored the second and third goals, but an own goal from Jan Sommer leveled the score at 3:3.
The second leg will take place on May 6 at 22:00 Kyiv Time. 'Barcelona' reached the semifinals after defeating 'Borussia', while 'Inter' did so after two matches against 'Bayern', where both clubs showed strong performance.
Recently, another semifinal match took place between 'Arsenal' and 'PSG', where 'Arsenal' lost 0:1.
