According to a White House statement, Biden and Vice President Harris met with the U.S. team negotiating the release of hostages held in HAMAS blockade. The President expressed his dismay and outrage over the murder, confirming the importance of holding the leaders accountable. The situation with the transitional proposal submitted by the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt to ensure the release of hostages was also discussed.
No specific steps towards the agreement have been taken, but Biden has already received updated information from the negotiating team on this issue.
